This natural color change does not substantially affect the product's efficacy. Should your serum turn an orange/deep amber, it is best to replace the product. Yes, Serum 10 is suitable to use within the same daily skincare routine as retinol.
Due to the fact that Serum 10 has a low pH and retinol is most effective at a higher pH we recommend using one of the following three strategies for maximum results:
1. Wait at least 30 minutes after applying Serum 10 before applying your Retinol
2. Use Serum 10 in the morning and Retinol in the evening
3. Use Serum 10 and Retinol on alternating evenings

Although some prefer applying serums directly from the dropper, to prevent potential contamination, we recommend dispensing 2 to 3 drops of Serum 10 into your palm and using fingertips to apply a thin layer to face, neck, chest, and back of hands as desired.
